A Fine Line Movie Premiere + Brunch & Bubbles Reception

Brunch & Bubbles, a partnership between MAPP (Mentorship, Advocacy, Purpose and the Power of Women) and Sisterly Love Collective, will be the finale of Cookbook & Convos presented by OpenTable and Philadelphia Magazine.

Tickets include brunch cocktails & bites and a private screening of the award-winning documentary, A Fine Line, by Joanna James which explores why less than 7% of head chefs and restaurant owners are women. The screening will be followed by a panel discussion on the current state of women in the industry, and what women need to progress forward to keep these numbers growing. The panel will include extraordinary talent such as Sisterly Love’s Jennifer Carroll (Bravo TV Top Chef) and others to be announced. The event will conclude with sweet bites provided by Sisterly Love members, a cookbook fair and mini Sisterly Love Market.

Proceeds of Brunch & Bubbles benefit Sisterly Love Collective’s mentorship and educational programs and MAPP, a 501 (c)3 led by Joanna James to support the growth & scale of women-led food organizations so together we can create a sea-change of equity & empowerment NOW.
