Owner, Lizzie’s Love Cakes / Creator, Hey Girl! Conference
Cassandra Burnett is the owner of Lizzie’s Love Cakes, a cake company inspired by her mother and aunts and the stories they told through their baking. Originally a pandemic passion project, Cassandra’s cakes have been sold out at markets and stores throughout the city and have been covered by the Philadelphia Inquirer.
She is also a Deputy Attorney General of the State of New Jersey, where she practices child welfare law and supervises 8 attorneys. She is the creator of the Hey Girl! Conference, a safe space for women to share their authentic selves, and was a WBYR Run Coordinator for Black Girls Run from 2016-2022. She lives in Williamstown with her husband and two daughters.
